Lovely work. I like the teakwood caps too. I don’t think I’ve seen that before.
Neither have I. The need arose given that smaller works are often hung in clusters and different heights as opposed to larger works at eye level in which the tops and bottoms are usually not visible. I also wanted as little interference with the texturing on the sides of the panels as posible. For me it’s elegant and simple a framing solution.
