This work was inspired by A landscape of Tom Tomson who was one of the “Group of Seven” artist from Canada painting in the early 20th Century. painting his landscapes in a post-impressionist style. I reinterpreted this work incorporating textures and fluid layered linework.
I am a visual artist working with abstract geometries in a modern style. My background is in industrial design and this informs my methodology in working with materials and composition.
