This composition juxtaposes saturated colors with earth tones reminiscent of Minoan Fresco.Each cell of the composition is individually and uniquely textured and there are color gradients side by side with solid colors. The idea is to produce a modern graphic composition that also has relief and gradations contradict the uniformity of the free form composition and are a reminder of classical practices and technique in painting.
